GCSE results 2026

We are thrilled to announce outstanding 2026 GCSE results, showcasing academic excellence across a diverse array of subjects.

The talented Year 11 cohort achieved remarkable success, with:

  • 16% of grades at 9
  • 95% of grades at 9-4
  • 54% at grades at 9-7

These results highlight the school’s commitment to nurturing academic achievement in a broad spectrum of disciplines and builds upon our recent A Level successes, reinforcing Kimbolton’s standing as a leading educational institution in Cambridgeshire and beyond.

“It’s such a great feeling to finally have our results and be able to celebrate together. I’ve had so many brilliant experiences at Kimbolton and I’m really looking forward to the next chapter in the Sixth Form.””

“We are immensely proud of all our pupils celebrating their results this summer. Of course, today is about recognising their academic achievements, but a Kimbolton education is about so much more than the grades on a piece of paper. What makes me particularly proud is the way these young people have thrown themselves into school life. They have performed on stage, competed on the sports field, taken on challenges and responsibilities, supported their friends and contributed enormously to the life of our community. Along the way, they have grown in confidence, discovered new interests and learnt that sometimes the greatest rewards come from being prepared to take a risk and have a go.

“Results days are an important milestone, but they are also the beginning of something new. Whether our pupils are continuing with us into the Sixth Form or heading out into the wider world, I hope they do so with curiosity, confidence and a real sense of excitement about what lies ahead. Congratulations to every one of them, and my heartfelt thanks to the teachers, staff and families who have encouraged and supported them along the way. We cannot wait to see what they do next.”
